Crystals and gemstones are beings that have been here soooooo long it's hard to fathom.
Since the beginning of man we have been decorating our bodies with them, creating alters with and around them, idolizing them, somehow when we found a stone, we just knew it was special.
Here we are so many years later doing just the very same thing.
ANGELITE
When I came across the stone named Angelite, I became intrigued and needed to find out more about it. Afterall, a stone with the name angel was hard to resist! Then I saw the stone. It was not disappointing.
Melody, in her book Love is in the Earth, explains it was discovered in Peru, South America. The color makes me think of the Peruvian sky. It crystallizes in the form of blue and white masses, nodules, and crystals. It occasionally has a splash of red in it which is red hematite. Angelite was discovered during the time of the harmonic convergence and is a symbol of the verbalization and communication of love and light to the world. It is an excellent balancing agent. It provides a protection field around the environment in which it is placed. It helps on a spiritual journey. Telepathic communication is enhanced. It facilitates communication with other worldly beings (such as angels of course!). It represents peace to the world. It is a stone to raise conscious awareness. It dispels anger.
On the physical level it has been used in the treatment of infectious dis-eases, to correct deficiencies of the hemoglobin and to renew and repair that which has degraded. It can also be used in the treatment of inflammations and afflictions of the throat, to correct any "atrophication" of the thymus, and to alleviate symptoms relative to proper functioning of the heart. It can help renew the blood vessels and to provide rectivation with respect to loss of sensory perceptiveness.
To me, the energy in the stone is very soft and nurturing, even for a blue. :O)) I love how it feels. I was overtaken by the beauty and gentleness of the energy of this stone. The individual stones are so beautiful I wanted to put as little outside accent as possible, so I kept the designs simple with just a touch of silver. Just enough silver to spark the flame. Everyone who puts the stone on their neck seem to have the same response - Ahhhhh. I made the clasp to accomodate the necklace, keeping it simple. When you find a gemstone you are in resonance with, you can just feel it, you are so drawn to it you have to have it close to you.
You feel so much better when you are wearing it. You never know why, but you just have to have that piece of jewelry.
It makes you feel good. You get the feeling it's talking to you.
Welcome to a gemstone healing. Holding one, sleeping with one, putting one in the water you drink, wearing one as a piece of jewelry, all can be a very moving experience.
